Our Roots

Randal’s pedigree in London’s Floral scene dates back to 1920, when his father settled here from the Netherlands and set up a floral business in the Strand in what is now Coutts Bank opposite Charing Cross Station. Randal honed his craft creating bouquets for individuals, floral displays for hotels, wedding centrepieces, and much more.

In 1985 Randal opened the doors to his own shop, Flowers By Van Twisk. The store quickly became a treasured gem in the Pimlico community. It is as colourful today as the day it opened.

Randal is now the go-to floral expert for many multinationals and his flowers can be found in some of London’s most beautiful homes. He has made countless bouquets for individual customers, and helped make hundreds of weddings extra special.
